Nikki Valentine received her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing at Kean College.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude from this program.  She also attended Kean University for her Masters in Speech and Language Pathology.  While in college, she worked at the Campus School, which consisted of Preschool Handicapped children.    

 

After college, Mrs. Valentine began working for the Ridegfield Public Schools as a Speech and Language Specialist in the Magnet School Program.  She has been working in the district for 23 years.  Her caseload has varied over the years and she has worked at the Bergen Boulevard School, Slocum Skewes and is currently at Shaler Academy.  She is now working with younger students on pragmatics, increasing and expanding their receptive and expressive language skills, oral motor, feeding, and articulation.  This year her caseload consists of students who are in Kindergarten, Preschool Disabled and Autistic classrooms.
