Mrs. Tiffany Kerr
I am a Special Education Inclusion Teacher at Ridgefield Memorial High School. I have taught in the Ridgefield Public Schools since 2013 and began as a Teacher Assistant for students with special needs, disabilities and behavioral disorders. I have been an Inclusion Teacher for all four High School grade levels. My joy has been having the opportunity to enhance the learning of students on an individual level in the classroom. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exercising, and traveling.
I believe that education is the only key to success and that we all learn best by being actively involved. My support is personalized and attentive towards students with IEPs with various learning and emotional disabilites. I give each student the pertinent support and confidence they need to feel good about the work they produce. As an Inclusion Teacher, I re-teach core subject areas, provide necessary modifications, accomodations, and re-emphasize study skills important for each students' success. I also provide educational support interactively through various methods suitable to the student's' learning style such as models, differentiations, repeated concepts, study methods, and test taking techniques. I am so excited for another great school year!
