Ms. Molina

Hello Everyone,

My name is Michelle Molina and I am one of the music teachers at Slocum Skewes. I teach 7th and 8th grade chorus. In addition to this, I teach the learning center general music, 4th grade general music, and 6th grade music appreciation.

I grew up singing in church and have had a passion for music for as long as I can remember. I began studying music when I attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music & Art and Performing Arts on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. I completed my undergraduate degree in music education with a concentration in voice at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.

In the next tab you will find my teaching philosophy, where you will be able to get to know me more. My contact information is also available at the top left. Please feel free to contact me for any reason. I speak and write in Spanish, so feel free to write to me in whichever of the two languages you are most comfortable with! I look forward to working with all of our young, bright musicians this year. I am excited to see you all grow on your paths to becoming independent musicians!
