Throughout the year the societies are motivated to give back to the community such as in this event, a group of 14 members took part in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer 5K Walk in Overpeck Park on October 19th.

Members are also encouraged to attend events that promote the cultures that we study such as the Hispanic Heritage Parade that took place on October 5th on Bergenline Avenue.
